Sunday, November 12 at 1 PM  ~ To celebrate the long and wonderful career of Barbra Streisand, and the release of her new memoir My Name is Barbra,  The Meyers Library, Adult Ed, The TJ Museum and Women of KI will come together to present Lee Slobotkin as he delivers an informal play reading of the one-man show: Buyer and Cellar by Jonathan Tolins.  The play is a comedy that follows Alex More, a struggling gay actor working in Los Angeles, who is down on his luck and lands a job curating the Malibu basement mall of Barbra Streisand. Alex eventually meets the icon herself and strikes up a friendship. Refreshments will be served.  Please note: This is a live dramatic performance and not a tribute concert.
